What does HB see in our future?

We want to see more of Hillyard’s youth representing their community. We want to see Hillyard musicians, thespians, scholars, athletes, artists, writers, and entrepreneurs jump at the opportunity to grow as an individual. We don’t want financial insecurity to stop these amazing children from nurturing their passion.

“My goal for Hillyard Built is vast. If you know me, you know I always have lofty dreams. We will become a non-profit soon (this came into fruition on February 26, 2024). I envision an annual fundraiser and consistent donors. I would love to see a storefront some day (Coming August 2024!!!!) where Hillyard teens can work with us and gain business operations experience. I want to see our shirts being worn around town. Possessing the ability to grant each and every scholarship application will be viable one day. Establishing a Hillyard Built college scholarship is also on the list. The sky is the limit, which is exactly what I want our Hillyard youth to realize.”
